In 2003, Mark embarked on his fitness career as a personal trainer in Florida. He devoted 5 years working as a personal trainer for a big box fitness club. Afterwards, Mark explored the entrepreneurial side of personal training and developed his own training entity: The Fifth Round. Capitalizing on his freedom with The Fifth Round, Mark was able to develop new approaches to fitness by safely challenging his clients. Mark draws from a diverse background of training modalities to ensure great results for his customers. Mark strives to improve his craft and satisfy his thirst for self improvement each and every day by learning anything he can through research and his personal experiences.

Mark’s first encountered Chi Bang Bodies in 2013 in Cambridge, MA. He was intrigued by their team approach to personal training. After sharing conversations regarding the expectations Chi had for his staff of professionals, Mark knew this was the start of a great relationship and the perfect fit for him.

Mark’s mission is to motivate and enhance his clients’ physical fitness and well-being through efficient workouts. Mark is an avid practitioner of mixed martial arts and combat sports. He incorporates his martial arts background with weight lifting to develop functional training routines. You can find him outside running a small group of clients through a workout using these methods as well as kettlebells and suspension training. Mark’s strength is his relentless work ethic and dedication to find the right routine for his clients no matter what those goals may be. “You only start seeing obstacles when you lose sight of your dreams.”
